Occasionally a delivery scan is entered by Canada post before the item is delivered. If you cannot locate the item, please allow 24 hours for updates or final delivery.
For reliable, timely and secure delivery we will ship your product via Canada Post- Expedited Parcel™. Berkey Water Canada will insure all shipped products against loss or damage. If no one is home when your package arrives, your package will be left at your local post office or postal outlet for pickup.
During order fulfillment we will print your shipping label and you will be provided with a tracking number. Your tracking number will show the message, “Electronic information submitted by shipper”. You will find your tracking number on your invoice from Berkey Water Canada. You can also go to Canada Post website or download Canada Post app.
Expedited Parcel Domestic deliveries are up to 5 business days.
Packages are picked up 5:00 pm daily (Saskatchewan time), Monday – Friday. 1 pm on Saturday.
- We can ship Purolator Courier by request however due to higher shipping costs, there is a $20 surcharge. If you prefer Purolator, click here.
We reserve the right to cancel orders with an excessively high shipping rate. A remote area surcharge would apply.
Returns / Exchanges
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange..
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. You will be responsible for inbound and outbound shipping costs on returned items. There will be an up to $45 Restock fee held back from your refund on product returns to help cover inbound and outbound shipping costs. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label via email.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
To return or exchange your product, you must deliver the product in its original packaging with an equal degree of protection to: Berkey Water Canada , 1102 Hastings St. Moose Jaw, SK. S6H 5R9.
Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. Under most circumstances, you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Use a trackable shipping service and include insurance in case your product return to Berkey water Canada is lost or damaged.
Berkey Water Canada warrants their products against defects in materials or workmanship during ordinary consumer use. This limited warranty does not cover product issues caused by any other reason, for the time periods and conditions set forth below when purchased directly from Berkey water Canada. For a period not to exceed twelve months from the date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser, Berkey Water Canada will, solely at its discretion, replace a stainless steel system or component that it deems is not functioning properly during the stated warranty period.
Berkey Water Canada. shall not be held liable for incidental or consequential damage to personal property from, but not limited to, a defective unit, improper use, abuse, accident, or neglect, etc. It is the customer’s responsibility to prevent misuse of the system and to replace parts, when, due to the natural course of wear and tear, they must be replaced. To obtain warranty service, you must provide a dated receipt for the product and pay for any shipping charges incurred to return the product to New Millennium Concepts, Ltd.
This warranty will not apply to units which have been used for purposes not intended, which have been altered so as, in the manufacturers judgment, to adversely affect its performance. This warranty is for the original retail purchaser only, and cannot be transferred.
Black Berkey® Purification Elements and Berkey Earth® DE Filter Elements
The Black Berkey® Purification Elements and the Berkey Earth® DE Elements are covered under a two year limited prorated warranty, calculated in six month intervals. Warranty period begins from the date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser.
Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters and Berkey® Accessories
The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters and all Berkey® accessories are covered under a six month warranty. Warranty period begins from the date of receipt of the product by the original purchaser.
The following actions will void your warranty coverage:
Attempting to use the Berkey Earth®DE Filter Elements or the Ceramic Super Sterasyl™ Filtration Elements in a pressurized manner. The Black Berkey® Purification Elements and the PF-2 / PF-4 Fluoride filters are the only Berkey® filter elements that require priming.
Allowing any of the Berkey®elements to freeze.
Using dehumidifier water with any of the Black Berkey®Purification Elements for daily use.
Breaking the Berkey® elements due to dropping an assembled system or carelessness.
Failure to remove the Black Berkey® Elements from the system prior to transporting or moving the system, resulting in broken stems.
Performing a red food coloring test with the Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters attached. The Berkey PF-2™ Fluoride and Arsenic Reduction Filters must be removed prior to performing a red food coloring test in order to stay in compliance with the six month warranty on these filters.
Using the water from a water softening system. Note: this action may clog the Berkey®Purification Elements or cause the stainless steel to pit or rust.
If the product is not used in accordance with manufacturer's recommendations or instructions.
