Until the Black Berkey Element becomes available again, the "All in One" Ultra Fluoride ceramic water filter by British Berkefeld is your best alternative for gravity fed water systems such as Alexapure, Berkey, British Berkefeld, ProOne, Purewell and Rainfresh.

An all in one filter that removes fluoride and doesn't require priming. These filters are situated in the upper canister only - no additional filters needed in the lower canister, like Berkey.  

NOTE; This Ultra Fluoride Filter is a stand alone-"All in One" water filter. It does not work in tandem with any other water filter.

Our Ultra Fluoride water filter was tested to NSF/ANSI/EPA standards and will deliver all the expected benefits of a ceramic water filter.  The Ultra Fluoride water filter gives superior flow rates in a gravity filter while reducing monochloramine, chlorine, fluoride, microplastics, pathogenic bacteria, heavy metals + more.

IMPORTANT NOTE; When using new filters;  you must discard the first batch of filtered water and rinse the bottom canister with hot water.

** - Fluoride reduction data is based on testing mature filters at 1000 Litre and 1500 Litre after use levels. Tests done with a fluoride spike at 5 ppm -3.5 times the normal amount allowed in municipal water systems.

How much fluoride do Ultra Fluoride water filters remove?  These filters have been tested to remove up to 98.9% of Fluoride. (Based on presence of fluoride at 1 ppm - standard fluoride presence in tap water in Canada is 0.7 ppm)

Ultra Fluoride filter is tested to NSF/ANSI Std. 53 and has the following certifications; Water Quality Association, EAC - Eurasian conformity mark, WRAS- Water Regulations Advisory in UK and Lucideon IS0 9001.

  • * Ultra Fluoride is a snug fit in the Travel Berkey. The filters appear to rub on the side of the canister wall but there is in fact a paper thin separation between filter and canister wall.
